CES 2008 - CES Coverage Coolmaster CSX

Cases

Coolermaster had a wide range of CSX cases on demo. The paint jobs were outstanding to say the least.








The ESA complaint Cosmos was out of wraps as well. For those that were not a big fan of the front door on the original Cosmos will like this one


Coolers

The V10 CPU and ram cooler will be a big hit when released around March or so. Even though it boasted a low 22dBA rating we can wait to see how much it weighs. Being mostly aluminum maybe not too much to frighten anyone. The V10 was comprised of dual 120mm cooling fan for cooling of the CPU and any surrounding components like rams or digital PWM chips.


The V8 CPU cooler was much smaller than the V10 but nevertheless looked promising as it used a single 120mm fan sandwiched by two set of aluminum fins and copper heat pipes.

Demos

Working game demos were a big hit at CES.
